Building on the brand’s strong tradition of creating characters and inspiring stories, Munch Bunch is introducing a new character, ‘Munch the Cow’ this September. The new character is designed to highlight milk as the key natural ingredient used in Munch Bunch products and to reassure parents that Munch Bunch provides a source of calcium, which is great for growing bones. Extensive quantitative research by Munch Bunch shows that 94% of the target group like the character ‘Munch’, signifying broad appeal for the new packaging.

Along with Munch the Cow, the new packaging offers upfront information about the nutritional content of the products as well as emphasising the fact that there are no artificial colours, sweeteners or preservatives. Visuals of real fruit will also feature on packaging to communicate the natural fruit content in Munch Bunch Fromage Frais and Yogurt.

Michael Inpong, Marketing Director at Munch Bunch said: “Munch Bunch has gone back to its storytelling roots of creating a relationship with children based on fun and friendly characters. Munch the Cow is a great new addition to the Munch Bunch family and we feel strongly that the new packaging visuals support the key natural ingredients of milk and fruit. We’re also very conscious that parents are increasingly worried about the ingredients in foods for their children so we’ve made it easier for them to access all the key nutritional information about our products on-pack.”

Consumers will see the new packaging across a range of Munch Bunch products that will include Munch Bunch Fromage Frais, Munch Bunch Mega Fromage Frais, Munch Bunch Double Up Fromage Frais, and Munch Bunch Yogurts.
The Munch Bunch packs will be available in major supermarkets from September and can be found in the chilled dairy aisle.
