Description
Directions: Using large poster paper, create a presentation that presents the main ideas of the area of history we are currently studying using pictures, at least 3 paragraphs, graphs, and other visual representation.
There is an in-depth rubric that goes along with this assignment. The assignment is worth 100 points, and each part is worth a point value.
This can be for any area of history, not content specific.
This can be done in class or as homework. I have done both.
This works great for Middle or High School; you can just adjust your grading criteria and expectations.
The point break down is as follows:
45pts.- Topic Paragraphs
**Three separate paragraphs should be displayed on the poster. Each paragraph should help to explain individual aspects of the topic represented on the poster.
20pts.Historical Graph
**At Least one bar, circle, or line graph must be included on the poster. The graph must include information that will support the poster’s main presentation.
25pts.Visual Pictures or Drawings
**Each poster must include at least 2 pictures or illustrations. They must be colored neat and help to visually explain the poster topic.
10pts.General Presentation & Neatness
