Born on May 29, 1953, Danny Elfman is an American musician and composer from Los Angeles.

Elfman is known as a founding member of the 1980s new wave band Oingo Boingo.

The group is recognized for their hits Weird Science, Dead Man's Party, and Only A Lad.

As a film and TV show score composer, Elfman has contributed to many soundtracks.
