Who is Columbus Short’s wife?

KNOWN for his work as both a choreographer and actor, Columbus Short first rose to fame in the early 2000s.

He and his wife, Aida Abramyan, have been married since 2016.

Who is Columbus Short's wife?

In August of 2016, Columbus Short announced his engagement to Aida; the two tied the knot in December of the same year.

Together, they share two children.

According to what appears Aida's LinkedIn account, she earned her Bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of California: Los Angeles, in 2008.

She has worked in the media ever since.

Aida's Instagram profile features photos of her and Columbus, as well as their two sons.

Was Columbus Short arrested?

In February of 2022, Columbus Short was arrested for domestic violence.

The news broke on Sunday, February 6, with TMZ reporting police allegedly arriving at his house to make the arrest a few days prior.

Columbus and his wife got into a verbal argument that allegedly became physical.

He went on to spend around 12 hours in jail before posting a $50,000 bond.

At this time, no charges have been filed according to the outlet.

"Marriages are challenging but getting through it is the blessing!" Columbus wrote via Twitter on Sunday.

"I AM not a abusive man nor am I on drugs but drinking alcohol makes my words unholy sometimes. My wife and I are working on our marriage."

Has Columbus Short been married before?

Columbus Short has two ex-wives, both of whom he shares children with.

He and his first spouse, Brandi, were married for an unknown amount of time - however, they split in 2003.

Together, they share a son.

In 2005, he went on to marry dancer, Tanee McCall, and they share one daughter, Ayala.

McCall first filed for divorce in 2013, and once again in 2014.

Who is Columbus Short?

Born on September 19, 1982, Columbus Short was raised in both Missouri and California.

At a young age, Columbus got his start in youth theatre. He bounced between a few high schools - Marza De Niza in Arizona, El Segundo, and the Orange County High School of the Arts.

However, he eventually left school to join the off-Broadway tour of the show Stomp.

In 2004, he appeared as a dancer in the film You Got Served.

He went on to star in Accepted alongside Justin Long and appeared in films such as Save the Last Dance 2 and Stomp the Yard.

Columbus was known as Trey from Disney Channel's fictional That's So Raven band, Boyz n' Motion.

The 39-year-old worked as a choreographer on Britney Spears' Onyx Hotel Tour.

After three seasons on the ABC drama series Scandal, Columbus left the show in 2014.
