He previously competed for the WWE NXT cruiserweight champion, with the weight limit of 205 pounds.

Alexander captioned the image "Beefy Ceddy" and many fans were impressed with his new look.

"Jeeeeeeeeez bulking season came early this year," one fan said.

"Out the cruiserweight division for sure," a third added.

The body transformation comes with Alexander not having competed in a match on WWE Raw since June 19.

He teamed up with Shelton Benjamin to battle Indus Sher in a tag team match.

Benjamin was part of WWE talent cuts this week but Alexander is still believed to be part of the roster.

"I have been released from my WWE contract," Benjamin tweeted.

"I thank WWE staff, talent, and of course the fans for everything. Something ends, something new begins.

"Looking forward to my next chapter."

It appears as if Alexander is looking to return to WWE NXT, after tweeting a link to his first match in the circuit in 2016.

As a free agent, Alexander can move around different WWE brands, such as Raw, SmackDown and NXT.

"I was only around for a couple months. With my 'free agent' status I wonder if there is room for an extended stay with the black and gold brand?" he wrote.
