Who is Caroline Quentin’s husband Sam Farmer?
Sam Farmer is a scientist married to actress Caroline Quentin.
The couple married in 2006, and Caroline is 11 years Sam's senior.
Caroline said: "You may have read stories about him being my child bride,
"But I looked at him and had a Sam Taylor-Wood moment. I just thought 'Yum!' I still do now."
He has served three years on the council of the Society of Cosmetic Scientists and is a member of both the Education Committee and the Schools Education Committee (Scrub Up On Science).
Farmer has launched a skincare brand for adolescent skin and hair.
How did Caroline Quentin and Sam Farmer meet?
The actress met Sam back in 1998 when he was working as a runner on BBC comedy Men Behaving Badly.
They met only a year after Caroline's high-profile divorce from comic Paul Merton.
Caroline revealed how they met to Woman & Home magazine: "I didn’t believe in love at first sight until the moment I saw Sam in a car park in Worthing 14 years ago.
"We were on set for Men Behaving Badly, it was lashing down with rain and this extremely handsome young man in a baseball cap came up to me and said, 'Can I get you breakfast?'
"I thought, 'No thank you, but you can get me something else!' I asked one of the girls on set who he was and she told me he was the new runner.
"Four days later, he asked me out in front of Martin Clunes and Neil Morrissey, which was incredibly brave."
What's his job?
Sam stays at home with their children while Caroline continues to work.
The couple have two children together, Emily and William.
The pair decided that Sam would be the stay-at-home after they "compared wage packets".
Caroline told MailOnline: "We’ve swapped roles in the sense that Sam stays at home and runs the house – it’s just the way it works for us."
Sam said: "Being a stay-at-home dad is liberating. I have a good relationship with Emily and William, and they get a male perspective.
