Keith Duffy hinted at marriage problems MONTHS ago with cryptic ‘clue’ ahead of shock split from wife of 25 years
Keith also made some telltale comments in a 2014 interview about marriage difficulties
BOYZONE star Keith Duffy hinted at troubles in his marriage SEVEN months before his split from wife of 25 years Lisa Smith.
The former Coronation Street actor, 49, made a cryptic comment about the pair's struggles in a post to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary last June.

It comes as Keith is said to be 'in bits' over the end of the marriage and desperately hoping he can 'rekindle' things.
Last July, Keith and Lisa enjoyed a romantic trip to the French Riviera to mark their milestone anniversary, but the month before Keith hinted that all had not been plain sailing.
On June 24 2023, the date of their anniversary, he posted a tribute to Lisa which referenced challenges they had faced.
He wrote: We’ve had our ups and downs, our fair share of obstacles along the way, but our love and friendship and desire, our fight for each other and we are still going."

While Keith did not elaborate on what the struggles they had overcome were, he also praised Lisa for her "unconditional love, support and understanding."
Keith's comments echo what he said back in a 2014 interview about their relatonship.
He said: “She is my best friend in the world, but, like any relationship, we have our ups and downs.
“We know the wrong buttons to press with one another. The rows aren’t gone. We still have some big rows but they are now few and far between. We understand each other a lot better now.”

Keith is believed to have left the family home just before Christmas.
He has not shared any posts and him and Lisa together on social media since their trip to France back in July.
At the time, he shared a snap of them with the caption: "Celebrating 25 years in Style The French Riviera doesn’t disappoint."
Lisa, meanwhile, has not shared updated her instagram since May 2023, when her last grid post was a snap of her and Keith posing with some pals.
Lisa and Keith appear to have unfollowed each other on social media in the wake of the separation.
The pair have two kids together, Jay, 27, and Mia, 23 .
They tied the knot in A Little White Chapel in Las Vegas just two days after Keith proposed in 1998.
Boyzone bandmate Ronan Keating acted as his best man.
