Eleanor Tomlinson smooches Poldark co-star Aidan Turner as they wrap up on the last scene of the final series
ELEANOR Tomlinson lands a smacker on the face of Poldark co-star Aidan Turner — as filming ends for the fifth and final series.
Aidan, 35, who plays Ross in the BBC drama, returns the kiss in photos shared online by Eleanor, 26, who stars as Demelza.
In Poldark their sizzling chemistry has seen the co-stars become one of TV’s hottest couples.
And as they wrapped filming on the fifth and final series of the BBCdrama, they didn’t want to let go of one another.
Eleanor shared sweet pictures of her hugging and kissing Aidan as they finished the last scene of the series. Another showed them posing with the show’s producers Karen Thrussell and Michael Ray.
She shared the pictures on Instagram and said: “Life is precious and should not be scorned. The thing is to find some purpose, to go on living.

“Goodbye Poldark. Thank you to the incredible cast and crew that have made this series over the last 5 years. What a family we are.”
The series started in 2013 and was based on 12 novels by Winston Graham. There was an 11 year gap between the seventh and eighth books but Poldark bosses said they’d chosen to focus on the existing characters, rather than introduce fans to new ones.
Director Debbie Horsfield said: “Series five will draw on all of these to follow the lives of the Poldarks, George Warleggan, the Enyses, and the Carnes in this intervening period.”
