Casey Affleck was not in attendance for his brother Ben Affleck's second wedding to Jennifer Lopez, which took place at Ben's home in Georgia over the weekend. Though he missed the celebrations, he took to his social media to share a loving note to his new sister-in-law.

"Good things are worth waiting for," Casey wrote underneath a photo of himself and the lovebirds in 2002. "Here is to twists and turns, new beginnings, and finding new reservoirs of old love."

He continued, "Welcome to the family. Get ready for some real dysfunction! Kidding. I am kidding. Jen, you are a gem. We love you so much!!! ❤️"

According to People, Casey was in Los Angeles due to family obligations. Page Six added that his girlfriend, Caylee Cowan, commented on Casey's tribute to Lopez, writing, "Hey, if you weren’t in town Saturday to take Atty to soccer practice then who would’ve helped the kid who broke his arm? You’re a good man. I love you." (Atticus, or "Atty" is Casey's son with his ex, Summer Phoenix.) The comment has since been deleted.

After posting about Ben and Jen, Affleck shared a photo of his eldest son, Indiana, as a baby. Indiana, or "Indy," turned 18 this year:

After Ben and J.Lo initially dated from 2002 to 2004, they rekindled their romance last year, and eloped in Las Vegas in July. A month later, they threw a lavish celebration at Ben Afflekc's home in Riceboro, Georgia, with numerous famous guests in attendance—including Matt Damon and his wife Luciana.
