Synandrospadix vermitoxicus. The lone member of its genus, this aroid is native to a few countries in South America. I believe I have the clone some sources allege is Colombian, though other sources don't list Colombia within its native range. I hope to get the Argentinian clone soon, which has a darker spathe and more glaucous leaves. All forms require a dry winter rest and good drainage, but it is otherwise fairly undemanding.

This is the first year my plant has bloomed for me. No smell yet, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time.
