Stevan "Steve" Anthony Klesper

Stevan “Steve” Anthony Klesper passed away on May 28, 2018 at age 47 due to complications from ALS. He lived a full and happy life traveling the world and raising a beautiful family. Steve’s greatest accomplishments were being a good father, husband, son, friend, sailor and coach. He was born on February 16, 1971 to Stanley and Nancy Klesper in Victorville, California. After graduating from Duncanville High School in 1989, Steve joined the U.S. Navy, serving six years active duty with four of those years aboard the USS INCHON. He met his loving wife, Courtney, in 2001 and they were married in 2003. They have three amazing children together. Courtney inspired Steve to get his BS and MBA degrees, which he put to use in the field of Telecommunications, where he was credited with twelve patents. During his life, he was able to travel the world with destinations such as England, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, Denmark, Israel, Mexico, Japan, Cuba and many others.

Steve is survived by his wife, Courtney and their three children, Jackson, Tate and Ellie; his parents, Nancy and Robert “Bob” Burney and William “Bill” and Lisa Marconi and numerous step siblings.

Steve is preceded in death by his father, Stanley Klesper and his sister, Angela Marconi.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 15, 2018 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.  Inurnment with Military Honors will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211. The family will receive visitor during a remembrance gathering on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial donations in Steve’s honor may be made to the Texas ALS Chapter and the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
