If you were a child growing up in the late '80s to and early '90s, then chances are you swung your pants along with comedy duo Trevor & Simon. Trevor Neal and Simon Hickson met in 1981 whilst studying at the University of Manchester.

Rising to fame as part of the BBC's Going Live! Saturday morning children's TV show the duo quickly won their audience over with sketches such as The Singing Corner and their calling card, the Swing Your Pants song, which was released as a single back in 1990.

The Singing Corner was a fictional, comedic musical duo, made up of Don Singing and Bob Corner. The duo were lampooning an out-of-date hippy, folk duo from the 1960s and would often have a sing-song with that week's guests. And they weren't the only famous duo from '90s kids TV. Back to Trev and Simon and a popular catchphrase was 'we don't do duvets', an exclamation stemming from the duo's sketch about a dry cleaners shop run by two grumpy old men.

They continued their sketches on Going Live!'s replacement Live & Kicking until they left the show in 1997. Live & Kicking took up where Going Live had left off and would run until 2001 - it had the usual obstacle courses with gunge, comedic sketches, and even a game that involved guiding a pig towards truffles and Run The Risk, a game which saw teams competing on various obstacle courses, complete with gunge which made the tasks harder.

So what happened to Trevor and Simon? Since leaving Live & Kicking in 1997, the duo has continued to work in TV, but more behind the scenes by writing for many CBeebies shows such as Dinopaws. They were also key contributors to the popular Noughties comedy, My Parents Are Aliens.
