I was surprised at how well it was made, and how thick the steel is. It's very sturdy and I see it lasting for years, which is something I normally don't count on with todays stuff. It worked great, I made a big pot of mashed potatoes on Sunday, they came out great.

it's not flimsy it's just lightweight. don't put a whole lot of pressure on it, then again if you're using this, you're ricing potatoes not bashing them. if you don't know the difference between the two Google it it's pretty simple cooking stuff good luck.
