Extremely biased teachers and work. No matter what your views are, school work should state facts and be as unbiased as possible.
If I remember correctly, the school website stated that clothing displaying political slogans or symbols are prohibited. With this rule in place some kids still wear hats and pins that displays a Hammer and sickle and some teachers even encourage this, meaning they encourage the disregard of school rules.

I am most certainly not saying the students shouldd not be able to express themselves politically but rather the opposite. I ask you to truly embolden free speach, encourage constructive political discourse in classrooms and demolish the rampant biases of the work given to kids and views of teachers. This is indoctrination of our future leaders, for good or for worse.

On top of all of this, there are staff that employ teaching methods that do not suit this current generation. For instance, "no talking in class". The classes that we are barred from talking in (for no good reason) are always the classes we dread and despise, the classes we learn absolutely NOTHING in. I have learned more important and useful information from youtube than I have in a few of my classes.

There are amazing teachers that make some classes really fun but overall this school is one step below hell. Its more akin to a reeducation camp than a school that supposedly promotes individuality and expression.

I can concure with another reviewer on the issue of staff accountability and how they treat pupils, to a degree. It never seems like student concerns about the school or staff are ever taken seriously. The school also does make unwanted and unneeded changes that negatively impact the majority of students then say it was discussedand wantedby students. We are only ever told once the decision has been made, same with parents.

As I have made obvious, my experience at this school is an extremely negative one. I strongly advise all parents looking at sending their child/children to this school to also look at others in the area. This stands until the school does a major overhaul and make this school more enjoyable and bearable but also more productive and suited to the students of today WITH the input of both students and parents.

They change multiple systems without students asking then say they asked for it, citing students saying things like system (x) was too repetitive! Even though a better solution everyone would have been happy with was blatantly ignored. They also don't listen when students don't like something, like the recent change of the S2 elective system to the S2 deeper learning system where you get to choose nothing whatsoever and the only good thing is rotations in blocks, which could have easily been implemented into the far-superior and more likeable S2 elective system. They also claim they have a very good reputation as a school, but this is only because only really the students get to see what goes on behind closed doors. Other than ignoring students and annoying basically everyone, it's meh. 2 stars!

The support staff are a joke. More like interrogation staff! As a child with an Autism Spectrum disorder I feel like I am treated like an inconvenience. Whenever I complain about being mistreated by a member of staff I am treated as though I am in the wrong. There was once a teacher who even threw a child off of a chair and yet nothing was done about this act of complete violence because they were an adult and we were children. As for the atmosphere I struggle to even go to this school because whenever someone does something to me nothing is done about it yet when I retaliate they make sure that the bullies are okay. If you are considering attending this school I suggest you run a mile
