Amy Maghera is a bilingual, British-Indian actress and voice over artist who started her career in England playing series regular, Neeta Kaur, in the multi-BAFTA nominated drama series, HOLLYOAKS.

After recently locating to Los Angeles, Amy landed back-to-back projects, including starring in SKATER GIRL for Netflix and the award-winning comedy feature, PRETTY PROBLEMS on Amazon Prime. Both features were awarded the ReFrame Stamp for gender balanced productions, something that Amy is extremely passionate about. 

Previous credits also include guest starring on the BAFTA Award-winning drama CASUALTY, and a lead in the critically acclaimed ANGRY INDIAN GODDESSES, which won the People’s Choice at TIFF, directed by Pan Nalin (director of Chhello Show, India's official entry for the Oscars 2023).

In order to further her craft as a storyteller, Amy is currently writing a screenplay that draws on her personal life and career as a multiracial woman.
