Welcoming the existing Richard Wallace team under the Blushes Collective umbrella, we thought we’d introduce you to some of the faces you can expect to see at Blushes Solihull and who you might like to see for your next appointment!

Advanced Directors
Claire
Claire is our Salon Manager at Blushes Solihull as well as being one of the Senior Consultants. She has a wealth of knowledge and skill from her 21 years hairdressing and in particular has a passion for helping clients with the Raccoon Hair Extension recovery programme to deal with thinning and finer hair.
When Claire’s not with clients, or managing the salon, she’s also a qualified assessor enabling her to teach the next generation of stylists everything they need to know to have a successful career in the industry.
When it comes to her style favourites, she’s a lover of texture & movement in cuts long and short and favours a Bardot fringe reminiscent of 50’s style.
Derri
Derri has been with previous salon Richard Wallace for an incredible 25 years, and will continue to remain with the team as they become part of the Blushes Collective.
As a Technical Specialist, Derri loves sinking her teeth into a lengthy colour correction, being able to not only transform the colour but also the condition and texture of the hair.
When Derri isn’t on the floor you’ll find her enjoying quality time with family and friends.
Tori
Tori’s been with the team for 6 years, and is one of the resident hair extension specialists as well as being a Balayage specialist.
She loves to spend time getting to know her clients and understanding their lifestyle to be able to create looks that have longevity and can be styled equally as fabulously by themselves at home.
In her spare time, Tori loves to spend time cooking, working out and generally living life to the fullest.
Amie
Amie has been working in the salon for 18 years now, having undertaken loads of advanced cutting and colouring courses to further her knowledge. She also now holds her assessors qualification to be able to help train the rising stars.
A lover of curly textures, Amie is your go-to for cutting and styling naturally curly, wavy hair, sharing with her clients the secrets tips and tricks for getting the most out of their hair from home.
When not behind the chair you’ll find Amie out walking her dog, at the local pool or out biking with her daughter.
Creative Directors
Ellen
Specialising in shorter cuts, Ellen loves to create trendy unique styles that work with her clients features.
Also a big fan of the movement back towards a 70’s/90’s-style blowdry, Ellen is your go-to for that big, bouncy voluminous look, favouring products such as Paul Mitchell extra body mousse & Paul Mitchell root boost, finishing with a small amount of Kérastase Elixir oil for unbelievable shine.
When enjoying downtime, you’ll find Ellen relaxing with a series on Netflix or spending time around animals.
KJ
KJ has been with Richard Wallace for around 6 & a half years, having worked her way through two promotions during that time!
Her passions lie with long hair, creating bespoke, lived-in Balayage looks on clients and also being an Easilocks extensions specialist- creating extra length and volume.
KJ enjoys watching UFC when not behind the chair, spending time with friends and is a self-confessed Netflix addict.
Stylist
Ellie
Ellie has recently graduated to the floor and is a keen admirer of the classics!
You’ll want to go and see Ellie if you’re looking for something short and sharp with your cut, or for your Friday afternoon blowdry appointment if you’re looking for gorgeous effortless S-bend waves!
When she’s not at the salon Ellie loves to curl up on the sofa with a takeaway with friends & family.
Future Professionals
Codie
Codie is currently working towards gaining her level 2 and 3 hairdressing qualification in the salon. Her passion is colour so we’re super excited to have her working toward getting onto the salon floor full time!
Codie has a real passion for hair and all things fashion and likes to spend her free time updating herself on what’s on trend right now.
She recently passed her driving test so is loving being able to be independent and go out driving at every opportunity to have days out with friends going shopping and out for lunch!
Lauren
Lauren is one of the apprentices working toward her hairdressing qualifications, but you’ll probably see her around the salon looking after guests too!
Colour work is definitely a favourite of hers, learning the different ways to create a balayage style effect with different techniques. She also loves blowdrying and creating hair that looks glamorous.
Outside of the salon you’ll find her shopping, spending time with friends or looking for great places to eat.
