Emma Bunton and Jade Jones' intimate wedding ceremony was watched by only six people - including their mums and kids.

The Spice Girls star tied the knot to her beau of 23 years - Damage star Jade - in front of their loved ones and two close friends, who acted as legal witnesses, on Tuesday.

And while the Spice Girls weren't in attendance, they surely won't have taken offence to not being there on Emma's big day.

Sources say the low-key wedding was kept a secret from everyone, including the happy couple's extended family and many friends.

Emma, 45, and Jade, 42, a member of boyband Damage, revealed yesterday that they had tied the knot.

Sharing a stunning picture from her big day, Emma simply wrote: "Mr and Mrs Jones."

Proving there were no hard feelings about not being present, Emma's co-stars rushed to offer their congratulations.

"Yipppeee," Mel B wrote.

While Victoria Beckham commented: "Congratulations love u both so much!! X"

Geri Horner posted: "So happy for you and your lovely family."

And Mel C told her: "Yeahhhhh! Congratulations. Love you all sooooooo much."

A source told The Sun : "Emma and Jade wanted to celebrate with only a handful of people. They kept the whole ceremony secret from everyone but wanted their kids there. Beau was [Jade's] Best Man — it was so sweet.

"If they’d had a bigger ceremony, the [Spice Girls] would have been invited but they wanted it to be really intimate."

Another added: "The only people at the wedding were their mums and one friend each as a witness. In Covid times, there was no other option. But the girls have all been in touch and wished the couple well. It wasn’t a snub."

Emma and Jade started dating in 1998 and got engaged in 2006.

They applied for a marriage license in March 2019, but the wedding didn't go ahead until this week.

Emma said that year: "It is the world’s longest engagement but if Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell can do it . . . they’ve never married. One day, I know we would love a wedding and we want the kids to be there."

The couple are proud parents to Beau, 13, and Tate, 10.
