The stylish silver 2020 Lexus NX.The Lexus NX 300 combines luxury and performance to create the perfect family vehicle. For 2020, Lexus added the next-generation of the Lexus Safety System to the NX, and it now comes with the option for a Mark Levinson stereo system. In 2019, Lexus added both Amazon Alexa and Apple CarPlay, and these come standard in the 2020 model. Here are some more reasons the NX is perfect for families.

The Power

The NX has a 2-liter turbo four-cylinder engine that delivers 235 horsepower and gets 258 pound-feet of torque. Lexus combines this with a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, offering all-wheel drive as an option.

The Exterior Look

The NX comes in two different trim levels, and there are three models, including the hybrid version. The base 300 has 17-inch silver alloy wheels, heated side door mirrors with a power-folding feature, fog lights, and roof rails.

The 300 Luxury adds a power rear door, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and 18-inch alloy wheels with painted accents.

The F-Sport is the performance model and comes with unique 18-inch wheels, an F-Sport-tuned suspension, and special badging on the front fender and the rear door. It also has upgraded LED daytime running lights with integrated turn signals and black outside mirrors.

The Technology

The 2020 Lexus NX offers the option for a 10.3-inch high-resolution split-screen display. This can provide the driver with a full-screen map view, real-time traffic and weather information, and 3D city views. The voice-activated navigation system makes it easy to access your destination, and it will even provide the current speed limit and identify nearby gas stations. Amazon Alexa and Apple CarPlay come standard, and you can also upgrade to a 14-speaker Mark Levinson stereo system. The Lexus Enform 2.0 infotainment system comes standard, and the Destination Assist system is an available option.

The Safety Features

The Lexus Safety System +2.0 comes standard on all NX models, helping the whole family stay safe on the road. This has a new lowlight pedestrian detection system and daytime bicyclist detection technology along with a built-in camera that can give you road sign information. The panoramic view monitor provides a birds-eye view around the NX and includes a moving view and see-through view options. The backup camera has dynamic gridlines, as well as a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert. The available intuitive parking assist system will help with parallel parking, and the smart stop technology automatically reduces engine power when you press both the brake and the accelerator at the same time.

The Cabin

Inside, the whole family can sit in comfortable seats, and there is plenty of cargo space and storage compartments. You’ll have power outlets both up front and in the backseat and pass-through storage for longer items. The Luxury models have heated and ventilated front seats, and all trims have power-folding and reclining rear seats.

The 2020 Lexus NX is a crossover SUV that has everything your family needs. It has the technology to keep you connected and entertained and a plethora of safety features.
