Celebrities are human, too, which means they can also have congenital conditions. For some, that means being born with clubbed thumbs, sometimes called “toe thumbs." It's an inherited condition called brachydactyly type D, which, according to Healthline, means that “the end bones of the thumbs are shortened, but all the fingers are normal.”

This condition can only occur due to genetics. Actresses Megan Fox and Malin Ackerman both have stipulations in their film contracts to hide their clubbed thumbs. Twenty One Pilots' Tyler Joseph and Top Gun: Maverick's Miles Teller also have clubbed thumbs. Clubbed thumbs aren't life threatening, nor do they impact your health, but it can impact a person's self esteem and outlook.
