Fancy a sherbet?

Boozy Dip Dab slushies are the ultimate cocktail for retro sweet lovers

Frozen cocktails and retro sweets? Sounds like the perfect summer combination to us

A GLASGOW bar has created the perfect summer tipple for fans of retro sweets with its Dip Dab slush.

The vodka-based cocktail served in a martini-glass is packed with "sherbety goodness and your own wee lolly", say the mixologists at Driftwood Glasgow.

There's a generous measure of Dip Dab sherbet scattered over the top of the £3.50 boozy cooler can be stirred in with the lolly - while there's a boozy element with the vodka and lemon liqueur.

It's not the first time the bar has concocted a delicious cocktail inspired by retro sweets.

Earlier this month, it rustled up a £3 Love Heart Slush to mark the start of Love Island that looks dreamy.

A mix of strawberry Mad Dog and white rum, the bar was shaking up 40 of the slushies a night.

But it's not just sweets inspiring the bar staff.

They've turned their attention to classic lollies too - Solero, Fab, Fruit Pastilles - they've all been given the Driftwood treatment.

Last month, The Sun revealed the creation of the Malteser Vodka cocktail by the geniuses at Malt + Bass bar in Corby, Northamptonshire.

Their wonderfully calorific cocktail effectively combines all our favourite things - Maltesers + chocolate milk + whipped cream + alcohol.

The only downside is that it looks like it contains all our daily calories in one glass!
