Most peculiar is the paralectotype (BM 1946.1.20.93) which has 11 on one side and 12 on the other. 8 to 14 (x = 12.5) sublabials on each side. Two large anterior chinshields, followed by 4 to 6 (?r = 4.2) posterior chinshields. 1 to 4 (jT = 1.9) preventrals, followed by 147—159 {x = 153.4) ventrals in southern females, 156—169 0C = 161.2) in northern females, 151—159 {x = 155.5)
