Der Pilz bildet za. 1 mm breite Brand- lager, die 1,5 — 2 cm Länge erreichen. Diese relativ kurzen Lager sind aber dicht neben einander gestellt und sind besonders an der Blattbasis stärker ent- wickelt. Als Nährpfianzen sind nur Carex-Kvten bekannt. Er steht in der Verwandtschaft dem ü. Agropyri (Preuss.) Schroeter nahe, unterscheidet sich aber scharf durch Sporenballen und etwas. Fig. 68 a.
